Evangelist
Veleta Cornwall Evangelist Veleta Cornwall was born to Ezekiel and Ambrozine Young in Jamaica. At the age of 19 she moved to Freeport, Grand Bahamas where she met and married Keith Cornwall. They eventually moved to the United States and obtained citizenship. They are the proud parents of six beautiful children. Veleta gave her heart to the Lord at the age of twenty and dedicated her life to the Lord ever since. She was formerly a member of the Commandment Keeping Church, but in the mid-nineteen eighties she sensed the Lord leading her to move on to a higher place in Him. After much praying and fasting the Holy Spirit led her to Miracle Temple COGIC under the leadership of Pastor Emily Myrick. She became a member of Miracle Temple COGIC in 1991, and has been working faithfully in the church since that time. While working in the church her calling to the ministry was revealed, and she enrolled in the Jamison School of Ministries in 1995. She was ordained as a Missionary by Pastor Emily Myrick, and in the year 2000 she was ordained an Evangelist by Bishop O.T. Jones, Prelate of the Commonwealth Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ. She eventually was ordained Assistant Pastor of Miracle Temple by Pastor Emily Myrick. Evangelist Cornwall’s vision is to see Miracle Temple fully established in the work of building up the Kingdom of God. Her desire is that God will give each member a heart to serve Him. ...................................................................................
